What we do
DesignPlus Associates (Pvt) Ltd is a type of construction firm that provides both design and construction services in a single contract.
Project Design
- Conceptualization and Planning: The company’s design team works with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget. This includes the development of the project’s concept, design, layout, and aesthetic.
- Architectural and Engineering Design: Once the client’s needs are defined, the company prepares architectural plans, structural designs, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) designs, and any necessary engineering specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: The design team ensures that all plans comply with local building codes, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: A cost estimate is provided based on the design and scope of work, ensuring the project stays within budget.
Project Management
- Coordination: A key function of DesignPlus is to manage and coordinate the entire process from start to finish. This involves overseeing the project schedule, timelines, budget, and communication with the client.
- Procurement: The company procures all necessary materials, equipment, and labor for the project, ensuring quality control and cost-effectiveness.
Construction

Fee Structure
Design Phase
• Rate per Sqft is LKR 75 (e.g. – if house total Sqft is 1000, total design fee will be 1000×75 = LKR 75,000).
• Initial advance payment is LKR 15,000. Will initiate the design layout accordingly.
• Upon finalization of layout, invoice will be issued based on the actual Sqft of the design.
• Total invoice value should be paid in 3 installments after deducting the initial advance payment.
• All installment and other details will be available in the Design Fee invoice.
Build Phase
• BOQ need to be finalized after all discussions and negotiations.
• Agreement will be sign with Lawyer and will be registered at government office.
• Payments terms will be equal installment method during the construction period or and other method convenience to client.
